I've never been one to make New Year's resolutions and this year is no different. I have a life goal to live each day to the fullest. I don't let others define me.
What about yourself do you like best?
I like to indulge in simple pleasures -
                                                           Read
                                                           Eat chocolate ( preferably dark)
                                                           Take a bubble bath
Indulge- Jan. 8 is National Bubble Bath Day
What's your simple pleasure?
Taking risks and going to the extreme is another way to live each day to the fullest. This year, dressed like Robo Cop I attempted to ride a bike on steroids down Whistler Mountain. I didn't make it down the twisting bumpy trail, but I did descent over 2000 ft. intact. Not sure what I'll try this year.
Take a risk- That is not me, but you get the idea.
What risks have you taken?
If reading and chocolate are your simple pleasures all the books in  Love by Chocolate series are available hardcover, paperback, and on Kindle.

Peace, Love and Chocolate for the New Year.

  6. I love the fact that I am fairly easy going.

Challenge? I am horrible with technology and exceedingly shy, but I WILL self publish my book this year.

  17. My New Year Resolution? Focus. Schedule each day (even if it's to goof off!). Find excitement in every moment because time is precious. Be productive. Love like it's the last day of my life.

  18. I don't make New Years resolutions either. It just seems like a recipe for failure. Better to begin each day with a particular goal in mind.

  59. This year we are going to take a real family vacation. We have been married for 15 years and haven't taken the kids anywhere. Many reasons why, but this year, we are changing that. Looking for a pet friendly cabin for a week's vacation. We will do it.

  67. I like that I'm stubborn. Yup, stubborn. It's kept me alive through a lot of the crap that's happened in my life, simply because I'm too stubborn to throw up my hands and let "the other guy" win (whoever it may be). (I also admire my sense of humor, but a lot of people don't "get it", though geeks and nerds certainly would.)
